A day in the life of… Regional Sales Manager, Sophie Bell.
There isn’t necessarily a ‘typical day’ in the life of a Sales person at Smoothwall but I will usually be in one of two places; either at my desk or on the road visiting customers and partners. When I am in the office my day consists of a mixture of contacting existing customers to ensure that they are happy with their service, cold calling to prospect new opportunities and working on live prospects with the intention of closing new business! This entails a mixture of working independently making calls, sending emails and creating proposals, working with my team to bounce ideas around, understand if they have been in similar situations before to seek advice and working with the other teams within the business.
Typically, I will usually spend part of the day working with Jenn and/or Rebecca, reviewing progress on current projects, trying to work out how new projects will fit in and working with my colleagues in Solutions to catch up on where we are with progress on continual improvements for current customers or new implementations or evaluations for prospects.
