Mental health issues can range from depression and eating disorders to anxiety and stress at work. It’s important that all workplaces make a conscious effort to recognise signs of mental health in it’s employees and have appropriate measures in place to protect and treat them.
In order to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace, Smoothwall used the opportunity to organise a Wellbeing Week, encouraging staff to think about mindfulness and their general mental and physical wellbeing. The modern workplace can often be quite demanding, with elongated hours sat at computer screens, with little exercise, and often high levels of stress. Smoothwall care deeply about the wellbeing of our staff and wanted to share with you some of our activities to remind you to take care of your mental health.
